An unusual night with the peaks as your backdrop. Stay in a ‘cab’tente’ in the heart of the mountain pastures and enjoy a unique experience surrounded by nature. Take in the exceptional panoramic views of the mountains and enjoy an authentic, rejuvenating break.
The comfortably furnished ‘cab’tentes’ can accommodate up to 2 people:
1 ‘cab’tente’ with a double bed (140 cm)
1 ‘cab’tente’ with two single beds (90 cm)
Bed linen and duvets are provided to ensure you enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep close to the mountains.
Your stay includes half-board at the refuge: a mountain-style dinner in the evening and breakfast
The refuge’s toilets and showers are available to guests staying in the cab’tentes.
Access
SUMMER : The ‘cab’tentes’ are accessible on foot via the various hiking trails in the area. Depending on the operating times of the ski lifts, you can also take the chairlift for easier access. From the Cuvy plateau, a pleasant hike of around 1 hour with 300 metres of elevation gain takes you to the refuge and the ‘cab’tentes’, nestled in the heart of the mountain pastures.
WINTER: Please note: The cab’tentes are located within the ski area. You must arrive before the ski area closes, which is around 4:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m., depending on the season.
If you’re coming on snowshoes, you can reach the cab’tentes via the Grande Paraz or, depending on the ski lift operating hours, take the Bois gondola or the Grand Mont chairlift, then follow the snowshoe trail.
Allow about 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking from the top of the gondola. Be sure to plan your departure time so that you reach the cab’tentes before 4:30 p.m.
